“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
~ Winston Churchill
At the heart of any successful business is a high degree of intention, creativity, and commitment. When one combines those qualities with a desire to effect social change, the good that results is much like an echo—it reverberates outward to the receiver and reflects back to the source.
The companies and corporations that sponsor Kwagala Project, along with their employees, make their living in a broad array of successful endeavors. Yet time and again, we have heard from them that their involvement in helping us fulfill our mission and meet our objectives brings them their greatest rewards.
We at the Kwagala Project are proud of what we have accomplished in just a few short years. We established Total Impact House in 2008, in Northern Uganda, and have since launched a similar project in Bwaise, a vocational school, community outreach projects, a small business training program, a college scholarship fund and continuing education to our mentors and counselors.
We could not have achieved these objectives without the aid of our partners. In addition to direct corporate sponsorship, we have benefitted from such innovative solutions as employee fundraising drives, micro-lending programs, and direct contact between corporate employees and those we serve in Uganda via Skype.
But the need is immense and there is so much more work we hope to do. Please feel free to read the testimonials from our partners Total Attorneys and American Advisors Group (AAG) and learn about what their involvement with Kwagala Project has done for them in return. We invite you to join them in helping us to rescue and empower more women and children. We believe that, like them, you will find that what you give to the Kwagala Project comes back to your company and your employees in immeasurable ways.
